Because the fashion editor is a rare bred of woman who not only welcomes the peril of a towering pair of stilettos, but relishes it, her inflamed, lacerated feet serving as a badge of honor. Likewise, a slip, here or there, is no longer a sign of poor technique, but rather incisive selection.
