AFTER 5 SEASONS OF GOING TO FASHION MONTH, SHE’S STILL THE SAME INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL AND ENDEARING WOMAN THAT I’VE COME TO ADORE PHOTOGRAPHING. I ALSO LOVE THAT SHE DOESN’T TAKE FASHION SO SERIOUSLY, ESPECIALLY ON THE DAY THAT SHE WORE THESE ALAIA SHOES AND JINGLED HER FEET. J’ADORE! mon dieu! I woke up so early this morning to try to catch it and the schedule was completely illogical.
it is refreshing to have someone so glamourous with such a lovely personality and light-hearted outlook on life. She appreciates the fun and frivolity in fashion and shares it with all of us.
and by the way your work for lane crawford is absolutely magnificent. I find your talent equally as inspiring as Carine’s. I’m still so elated that I had the opportunity to meet you.

oh i havent seen the special, i will hope to catch in on utube. but ive seen other documentaries and read interviews on her, and she seems very down to earth, esp. for such a high position in the fashion world. even the other designers described her as one of the “nice people” in fashion. she looks amazing, as the shoes are excellent!

Carine Roitfeld is so beautiful and confident and inspirational and I’ve been looking forward to watching that CNN special ever since I heard about it a few months ago! And don’t even get me started on those shoes….
