SHOE OF THE SEASON//

IT WAS QUITE CLEAR AFTER PARIS FASHION WEEK THAT THE SHOE OF THE SEASON HAD TO BE THE LOUIS VUITTON ‘SPICY’ SANDALS. LAST SEASON YOU COULDN’T ESCAPE THE YSL ‘TRIBS’ AND THIS SEASON YOU COULDN’T HELP BUT BE MARVELED WHEN THESE EXTRAVAGANT WONDERS TIP-TOED IN FRONT OF YOU.

beautiful!
March 20th, 2009 at 9:10 pm
Yikes.
March 20th, 2009 at 9:30 pm
I called it once I saw these first come down the runway; these shoes would be the “it” shoe for the season. Clearly, we can see why. I’m absolutely in love with all four pairs here, but the first pair with leopard/jaguar print are a force to be reckoned with. They epitomize and sum up what Louis Vuitton S/S09 was all about; jungle/tribal chic.

the only reason these where the shoes seen everywhere is because LV gave them out to the editors like candy. The Balmain crystal studded shoe is THE shoe of the season – but it was still not available to any but the few select

All of them are gorgeous. I love that every detail of the shoes blends well. Like there is a lot going on-On each shoe but it was done correctly.

I was afraid that might happen. It’s an indigenous sneaker with high heels. Sometimes pantented, sometimes feathered. I still dream about those blue aristocratic soles…
Good grief, I just realized a scary-kitten-thing: all those wearing the new Louis Vuitton Spicy have to give all their cats away! meow!

I love them but they’re waaay to $$ for a shoe that you’ll only really be able to wear for one season… (that said, they’re waitlist only here in HK…)
March 23rd, 2009 at 9:49 pm
1. I’ve got the Tribs in my closet.
2. I am literally drooling over these bloody shoes but that is as far as it is going to go.
The price range is 1500 – 2400 USD. I’m amazed that anyone can honestly afford these, considering the markets worldwide. Sigh. The slaves to fashion I suppose.
