Balmain is overrated, just because they show it in Paris, if an italian or english or american brand made things like that, people would call it tacky, especially the dresses, but because it’s french, people love it..

actually, i love Anna dello Rosso and Balmain.
but Anna in that Balmain jacket looks really terrible.

balmain overall really isnt my cup of tea. and it actually wasnt one of my favorite looks on anna. i think she looked completely phenomenal the image is forever coded into my brain in THAT red dolce dress with the black gloves. Absolutely amazing.
But this picture is really incredible. I think its the best picture taken of her in the balmain jacket.

I like Balmain, (although overrated) but hate Dello Russo’s style: I think she looks like she is trying too hard, and she also seems too old for some of the looks she goes for. Quite honestly, she lacks the presence to pull off Balmain and some of the other designers.

the Balmain moment is OVER. please get that into your heads, fashion victims. and Anna, that shoulder is simply too bulky even for Balmain.
IMO, Balmain’s moment in the limelight is done and over with. yes it was fun while it lasted but it’s more likely a flash in the pan trend. let’s see how Christophe tries to move on in Spring 2010 because his fall 2009 collection was just a poorly-executed leftover from his spring 2009 collection.

I love Balmain and the past few collections
have been awesome…. but i feel like now that
EVERYONE is sporting their jackets I’m ready to move on from this trend. I agree that Anna cannot pull off this look…

I love Balmain and Anna Dello Russo is amazing and I think to say that becuase the design is french it makes it chic is ignorant. If an American designer came up with idea instead of a French one people would still love it and be obsessed with it because their looking at the design and not the name. Also Anna is brilliant she truly loves fashion and have impecable taste you should learn more about her before you try and say that she tries too hard.
