i am wondering what the rule is for sizing of open-toed sandals. i’ve seen people wear them with toes hanging out, and people wear them with up to 1-inch extra room in the front. can anyone enlighten me? this particular pair, to me seems a little too small for her feet, just a half size or so, but maybe i’m wrong
i’d say open toe should fit like closed toe: snug.
i hate when women wear shoes that are too big, you don’t want your toes hanging out but they should be on the edge.
i’m guessing if you have wide feet or square toes that this can be difficult.
hot shoes and blood red toenails!!! what’s not to like? i don’t see her toes hanging over. or maybe i’ve grown so accustomed to seeing it, that it’s not noticeable anymore…whatever, great shoes, love the heel, not so stiletto-y…a nice change from the usual killer heels (which of course, i am guilty of wearing, but again, whatever!)
great post! http://styleodyssey.blogspot.com/
well, i’m not usually a big fan of gladiator high heels but i have to admit that the dominatrix shoes + red nail polish (stop me if i’m wrong but it looks like chanel rouge/noir) definitely looks very sexy.. as per the size of the shoes, i personally don’t like having my toes hanging out at the front too much, you never know what you’re going to step on…
I have a pair of shoes similar to this and they are a staple! I wear them to weddings with floral dresses and out at night with jeans or simple mini skirts. Can’t go wrong.

Why do people thing the toes over the edge of the shoes is on purpose? It’s absolutely not! It’s because your feet slide forward. Girls, you should know that! It happens to me too Sometimes there’s more space in front than others but that depends on the style of the shoes and shape of your feet. It often has little to do with sizing unless it’s really obvious.
On the shoes. They are HOT and love the red nailpolish!
