It looks so good on her! She pops out! It gives her a more fresh-look…I would like to see her with different make-up sometimes. Not that I do not like this, but it would be interesting for a change.

I like it too. Clean and fresh… i think it’s a soft look. I’m kind of used to seeing her in a “strong-independent-get-out-of-my-way-or-i’ll-stomp-you-with-my-deadly-stilletos” woman kind of outfit

i prefer dark look of Carine… Givenchy, Margiela, Rick Owens… and i would agree with the rest on her make up, its too contrast with clean outfit and makes her look older.

i love that she totally changed how we imagine Carine-the dark goth rock star. It takes a second look to say …oh that is Carine.. She should go with lighter shade of makeup for preppy though. Or none at all!! Now let us see Anna Wintour do a complete switch and go black all the way with dark makeup, black gladiator shoes, and a new haircut (dye it black ha ha)—will this ever happen? Probably not. That is why Anna is no Carine! p.s. Carine the preppy is interesting just don’t go all the way with a rugby sweater wrapped around the neck… I don’t know about that

I think the black and studs, and all the reminiscence of goth from the last few seasons is coming to an end. The ones that were true to that wave and used as a self expression form including designers will stick to it wich is great, and those who were part of the trend will find other paths. Although black will stay forever as it is timeless trendless the quintessencial of elegance as black always has been…
