It is so great to see something so unique and creative in menswear. More designers should try pushing the envelope in this manner, instead of the usual cliche “avant garde” men’s looks.
Great shots! No need to visit men.style.com, I have your photos which basically gave every angle of this collection! Narciso Rodriguez did similar hats in his last collection.
Some details are very very interesting… the yellow touch of colour, the socks, the biais…. the underpants….
but the whole look is too much and then not all the elegant it could be.
thanks anyway for this post, I was very interested in seeing more of T.Browne.
Amazing images! I love how the imagination can take people on such a journey. The little geisha lips are so endearing! There is almost a sense of clinical-ness to the collection – a beautiful take on hospital shorts. LOVE IT!
Great photos! I disagree with the comments that say this is similar to CdG in that this collection has such an American sensibility. Sure there is homage or influence (in all of fashion), but I don’t think CdG would twist it this way.
Yellow Submarine ou le poinçonneur des lilas le thème ???
J’adore ces pois.
Je craque sur ces mini socks.
Plus encore, super la déferlante d’images qui racontent une histoire, différente pour chacun.

It takes a real man to pull off those crazy hats and Kabuki bow lipstick. LOL. BTW, I totally snapped a pic of you and your famous spikey loafers at a presentation this week. Of course, I was too shy to say hello!
This reminds me of the Experience Music Project in Seattle: if the shape OR the colors/patterns would change, I’d probably find the clothes less alarming. The sunglass hats remind me of Mushmouth from “The Fat Albert Show”. The half-skirts have potential for club wear, as does the mesh not-quite-containment wear. The blazers make me wonder if they’re trying to capitalize off the remake of “The Prisoner.” The shoes remind me of early Madness videos.
i’ts daring to say the least!
i wounldn’t wear most of it… but i still appreciate he dared to play with different collars, different sleeves, leghts, proportions, materials, colours…
it’s a bit ‘too much’ but it wouldn’t work with all the elements.
Some people find these “risky”, and to some point ridiculous. But I like the crossing of boundaries of this Thom Browne collection. Thanks for the great pics.
I wonder if those guys ever feel embarrassed and ridiculous in the getup they’re asked to wear. I would. I mean, it’s badass, but… completely ridiculous.
Seriously guys, learn a bit about Thom and why he does these shows before you bash him. Then go into this store (100 Hudson St.) and put your hand on anything in the store and you’d be impressed and fortunate to own a piece.
