oh my god, this is absolutely brilliant. i was lucky enough to stand 1 foot away from karl at the flagship in paris. i can sympathize with the paparazzi.
Hi!
I’m sorry for this kind of spam but I just wanted you to know that by now, I’m preparing some exhibitions and I can’t upload any of the shoots I’m doing, but you can follow the making of the series on my new blog: http://www.michaeloatsdiary.blogspot.com
Wow, love this! Fashion has come far beyond garments that adorn the body and embraced art down to body paint/tats. Just one more accessory to further individualize personal style!! So amaze!
YES. yes yes YES. I adore the fact that Karl has embraced what is one of the most deliciously tacky pleasures of childhood (and beyond, if you’re anything like me…): the temporary tattoo.
I love those rubbed on tattoos, definitely will be seeing more of them come spring. So many designers are bringing them into their collection through tights.
I love it! I was thinking about this the other day how I wish there was rub on tattoos that lasted a little bit longer, like maybe a month or something, so then you would know if you ever wanted an actual tattoo, or you get to change them.

I like how the super labels are embracing tattoos/body art. Rodarte, JPG and now Chanel! I guess it’s much cheaper than a 2.55
October 6th, 2009 at 4:51 am
I’d rather take the 2.55 though… it doesn’t wash off like a fake tat.
October 6th, 2009 at 4:53 am
Very cool! I like the subtlety of these ones, and I can see this sort of “tattoo inspired” looked definitely trickle down come spring!
