xavs- I have to say I agree with you. The black socks are a confusing pairing with those sandals because you can’t tell where his toes end and the front of the shoe begins. He might have possibly been due for a pedicure or suffering from chilly toes. Still- maybe I’m harping on here about proper fit of shoes, but I am not sure if they are a size too big or not!
