Wow! i love the top. It’s amazing how the kombination of clothing can make you see an item from antoher point of view. I saw a girl with a top like that yesterday. she matched it with leggins (too short for leggins, believe me!) a green jacket from god knows where, and really ugly shoes.
My attention was also drawn to the shorter woman. Her style is so simple and she takes away from the intended focal point of the picture–in sequins and leather of all things. What is it with her? I do love her hair.
I think what first comes to my mind is not the wild shiny top nor how boring and uninteresting this look is but the contrast in the photo. Young vs the old. The new generation of fashion and the old generation of fashion. Wild vs conservative. That’s why I think Tommy kept the old lady in focus. http://theclackers.onsugar.com
It’s fun to see the difference between the prim and proper petite old lady in the background, versus the hip and flashy tall girl in the foreground. It sort of evidences a generational divide, right?

I think it’s all about the belt. The belt is what makes this outfit; it makes it work.

the woman beside her is much more elegant. Her look is classic if one ignores the lanyard and laminate. I find the woman on the right awkward.
