DOLCE & GABBANA FALL/WINTER 2010//
DOMENICO DOLCE AND STEFANO GABBANA HAVE FULLY PROPELLED THE CONCEPT OF THE FASHION SHOW TO NEW HEIGHTS. THEIR SHOW HAS BECOME SUCH A FULL ON MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENCE THAT YOU CAN’T EVEN SHIFT YOUR EYES AWAY FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER WITHOUT CATCHING A GLIMPSE OF SOMETHING BEING BROADCASTED ON THE MULTIPLE SCREENS MOUNTED ALL AROUND. RATHER THAN SENDING EACH MODEL OUT ONE BY ONE, THEY WERE SENT OUT IN MULTIPLE GROUPS SHOWCASING VARIOUS LOOKS OF THE COLLECTION. IF THIS SHOW WAS ANY INDICATOR OF WHAT IS YET TO COME, EXPECT THE WOMEN’S SHOWS TO BE GRANDER AND MORE SHOW STOPPING THAN EVER.

I’ve watched the show live, and, to be honest, didn’t really like the idea of three models on the runway at the same time. When it’s one by one you have more time to catch all the details of the outfit, when, on the other hand, there are three models you will miss something.

I agree that it is very hard to focus, but that might have something to do with all those seriously good looking men (this is me being extremely polite)…I have to say that I agree with the naked-comment. Now that would be fashion-recession!

yeah i totally agree! Its exciting what theyre doing. Im not a fan of Dolce and Gabbana but its exciting to think that hw they present their shows could trigger something greater in the way fashion shows are presented in the future.
